Case Studies
a) In Italy, WIPAS is being deployed as Wireless Access for the local government intranet. Nearly 200units have been in operation. No faulty units at all.
b) In Czech, hundreds of WIPAS is being deployed as Last one-mile Wireless Access for the Metropolitan Area NW via Wholesale Telecom Service Provider with Carrier Grade Service Assurance.
c) In Canada, WIPAS has been deployed for Internet Access, connected to Fiber Network and the backhaul for Mobile/Cellular Phone Network. 300units are being in operation and meet the carrier grade requirement fully
Features
◇ Second layer isolation of subscriber traffic is provided by 802.1Q VLAN-tag.
◇ Broadband Access Server (BAS) terminates access layer functions and relays user traffic to IP backbone network.
◇ OpS (Operation System) gives the remote functions of system setting-up, monitor, control and test, including the subscriber initialization, testing and troubleshooting of the Access Point and Wireless Terminal.
