Brochure
Deeper-sensing ‘Handy Search’ has been released—
More and more requests for quality assurance inspection on concrete buildings have been made in recent years.
When a concrete building is repaired, rebuilt, or maintained, there is the potential problem of accidentally cutting a reinforcing steel bar, electrical conduit and wiring, gas pipes, or plumbing.
To perform quality assurance inspection and avoid such an accident, "Handy Search" has been developed as a nondestructive search device that can sense deep in concrete buildings.
Principle —
GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) radiates the electromagnetic waves through a concrete surface and receives reflected signals from objects such as reinforcing steel bars, cavities, or other objects that have different electrical characteristics from concrete. Object location and depth are then displayed and recorded as image data.

Ø Easy-to-use operation keys
Ø Compact and light weight ; 1.1kg (2.4lbs)
Ø IrDA function
Ø Search of both metallic and nonmetallic objects
Ø Real-time surface wave processing
Ø Data maintenance and replay
Ø Reading/recording of the analysis cursor position
